Buyers will be spoilt for choice at the monthly Dungannon Dairy Sale on Thursday, March 24.
Auctioneer Michael Taaffe has confirmed that the catalogue features an entry of 64 fresh calved heifers and cows, 15 springing heifers, 22 served and bulling heifers and 16 heifer calves.
The milking portion of the catalogue includes entries from leading herds such as Burnhill, Carrowcroft, Dunmac, Garaba, Hilltara, Inch, Modelfarm and Relough.
They are daughters of top AI bulls Rubicon, DG Charley, Skywalker, Agronaut, Pepper and Jones.
Pre-sale judging gets underway at 10am, and will be followed by the sale at 11am.

One of the highlights of this month’s dairy auction is a major reduction of the noted Newry herd owned by Messrs SJ, JR and C Stevenson, Kilkeel.
This offering includes 38 head, comprising of 14 fresh calved heifers and cows, 11 served and bulling heifers, and 13 heifer calves born between December and February.
They are bred from proven cow families at Newry, including Barbie, Supra, Dinah and Heiress.
The youngstock on offer are progeny of top AI sires Koepon Robin Red, Siemers Darwin, Peak Konrad, Aristocrat, Dynamo, Nacash and Pharo.
Taaffe Auctions is also hosting the final part of the Killane dispersal on behalf of brothers Austin and David Perry, Ahoghill.
The sale includes all remaining youngstock, including 14 head, comprising of 11 served and bulling heifers and three heifer calves.
The Killane heifers are bred from the herd’s renowned and long-established cow families, Roberta, Pretty Pat, Tina, Flora, Lucy and Winnie.
They are progeny of leading AI sires Alta Zarek, Alta Zazzle, Sandy Valley Batman and Winstar Riverbend.
Rounding off the sale is a special entry of 15 springing heifers consigned by Inch Genetics based at Downpatrick.
These heifers are due to calve in April and May, and are bred from the herd’s top cow families, Daphne, Ivory, Watchful and Karine. They sell in-calf to sexed AI bulls Lambda, Applejax and Dalliance.
