The weather was superb on a dry spring day on the Ards Peninsula.

Social distancing was observed and everyone enjoyed the day’s ploughing with these classic tractors. It was good to enjoy the fresh air and the views of Strangford Lough and Scrabo Tower.

n Out in front is Brian Dempster, County Super 4, followed by John Mageean, Ford TW 15 Series 11, Richard McDonald, Muir-Hill 111 Series 3, and then Ken Cooke, County 1454. :

The ground ploughed on the day will soon be sown out in spring barley.
