Squirrel feeders damaged by vandals at Glenariffe forest park

Volunteers from the Glens of Antrim Red Squirrel Group have reported vandalism to feeders at Glenariffe forest park.

The feeders were damaged beyond repair and some were missing all together.

A group spokesperson appealed to those using the forest park to keep an eye on the feeding sites within the forest and report anything out of the ordinary.

One of the areas most targeted is the garden area.

The feeders are for monitoring the red squirrel population and giving the public a chance to see them.
