Style and more style at Downpatrick Racecourse

WITH two style race meetings to look forward to, Downpatrick Racecourse is the place to be in August.

The first meeting, Style and Jazz Sunday, takes place on Sunday August 7 with gates opening at 12.30pm. Discounted Early Bird ticket sales close on Thursday August 4 at 1pm. Ticket options include, General Admission, Indoor or Outdoor Punters Packages, VIP Cocktail Lounge or Brownlow Suite Hospitality.

There are £750 worth of prizes up for grabs in the “Most Stylish Hat and Accessories Competition” with a variety of live music before and after racing. This will be a great day out.

The very popular Ladies Day will take place on Bank Holiday Monday August 29 where the Most Appropriately Dressed Lady will receive a Hannon Travel Voucher worth €2000 and the runner up will get €500 travel Voucher. The Best Dressed Gentleman will receive a £500 gift voucher for Prestigious Warnocks Gents Outfitters in Belfast.

Joining the judging panel will be this year’s Miss Northern Ireland, Daria Gapska.

Again there will be a variety of ticket options on sale.
