THE NI Limousin Cattle Club got everyone involved in its online show ‘Forever in Red Genes’ and what a successful show it was.
Nearly 50 animals participated in the virtual show, judged by two Limousin Presidents, Jim Quail, President of the NI Limousin Club, and Jim Scott, President of the British Limousin Society.
Both judges are commended for their challenging work of judging the seven strong classes. They want to thank the NILCC for inviting them to judge and would like to congratulate each exhibitor on presenting tremendous cattle.
Champion was awarded to Bernish Pamela, bred by Kieran McCrory. This January 2019 born heifer was sired by Fairywater Haig and out of Bernish Jennyfortune, who is by Ampertaine Elgin. The judges described her as a ‘stand out champion from the start’ and they will hope to see her in the flesh in the future.
Reserve Champion went to Carmon Pluto, bred by Francis McAuley. Pluto was February 2019 born and sired by Wilodge Cerberus and out of Carmorn Janita, who is by Millgate Fame. He was described as a ‘powerful correct bull with great width’.
