The Suffolk Sheep Soc-
iety NI Branch recently organised its first “Tup
Tour” across two counties, with six Suffolk breeders participating in an opport-unity to showcase a selection of some of the top class ram lambs that will be forward at the upcoming Premier Export Show & Sale being held on Friday and Saturday, July 16-17, at Ballymena Livestock Mart.
“We had breeders travel from all across the country, North and South, joining us for what was a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable day.
“It was great to meet and greet with everyone with a hint of normality.”
Thanks to the newly opened Glenpark Estate of Richard and Selena Beattie for organ-ising lunch for everyone on the tour, and to Kathryn and Dennis, and all the Taylor family, for hosting the BBQ to finish off the day.
Also to Brian Berry for the catering, Smyths Daleside Feeds, Jayne Tannahill Live-stock Care, Philip Gurney – Natural Stockcare, and the Suffolk Sheep Society for sponsoring and contributing to the raffle and auction.
