FORTY teams of young farmers took part in the popular Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster NI Quiz, sponsored by Ulster Bank, on Friday March 6 at Sperrin Integrated College.
Kilrea YFC were crowned the winners of the quiz which included general knowledge, picture and music rounds, and received the top prize of £300 for their club. Their team was made up of Adam Alexander, Steven Arthur, Joel McComb and Vicki Rankin.
Second place went to Lisnamurrican YFC; their team included, Gail McCullough, Chrissy McMaster, Matthew Moorhead and Grace Smyth. They were awarded £200 for their club.
Third place went to Kilrea YFC again, with Ellen Alexander, Mark Anderson, Melissa Sloan and Robert Sloan winning £100 for their club.
