THE NSPCC will benefit from Saturday’s tractor run organised by the Tullylagan Vintage Owners Association Ltd.
Jennifer Hobson expressed thanks to the Tullylagan Club for its generosity and efforts.
Tullylagan is a small vintage club, covering the Cookstown and Mid Ulster area, which runs fundraising events to support local charities. Chairman Alan Graham welcomed everyone, thanking them for their support on such a wet morning, and hoped they would enjoy the run and the refreshments later at Churchtown.
Secretary Robert Beggs added: “The morning has been a terrific success. A lot of people have given donations and bought breakfasts.
“The route is shortened, there’s no point in being heroic on a day like this. The ladies have prepared a good feed for us at Churchtown. Thank you all very much for turning up to support such a worthy cause.”
The roadrunners met at Garden World, Dungannon Road, Cookstown, and after a tasty breakfast headed out round the local roads.
