JUMP Cross continued at Lisbane Farm, Saintfield, last Saturday over another new course designed by Eric Pele, with 25 fences including show jumps, cross-country fences, banks, ditches and water. Winner in the 75cm class was newcomer Alex McMaster from Ballynure, riding her show jumping pony that she has produced herself up through the grades. Also competing was her mum Paula McMaster, who finished runner up.
Evan Hobson was the winner in the 90cm riding ‘Promise Me’ – this combination has been improving every week and thoroughly deserved the win. Runner up in the 90cm was Marina Hope riding ‘Dodger’.
Many thanks go to photographer Anne Morrison and to Kingsfield Haylage and Bailieys Horse Feeds for their continued support.
Competition continues every Saturday during February, starting at 10am with the 75cm class, followed by 90cm at 11am and 1m at 1pm. Go As You Please starts from 2pm onwards.
