THE impressive three-year-old winner ‘Naaser’ has been added as a wildcard to the catalogue for the Tattersalls Online March Sale, which will take place from March 8 to 9.
Consigned by George Boughey’s Saffron House Stables, the promising son of ‘New Bay’ will be offered online following an eye-catching performance at Lingfield on March 1, where he dominated his rivals by a winning margin of three and three-quarter lengths.
Purchased by Menahi Almutairi at the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze Up Sale for 35,000 guineas when offered by A and N Bloodstock, ‘Naaser’ has made only two starts to date and previously placed second on debut at Kempton, where he displayed an impressive turn of foot in the closing stages.
‘Naaser’ is out of ‘L’Ambre Gris’, a half-sister to dual Group 3 winner ‘Fontanelice’ from a top class international family, including Japanese Grade 1 performers ‘That’s The Plenty’ and ‘Shonan Achieve’, Champion Japanese Two-Year-Old ‘Shonan Peintre’ and US Grade 1 performers ‘Flip Flop’ and ‘Qurbaan’.
